Configure Network (Static) IP in HP Laserjet printer -If there is no LCD panel available

If you are going to install Network printer with Static IP address. Just follow these steps to configure.

Step 1 : Connect the printer with network card in the network slot and insert the

RJ45 jack in that port. Now switch ON the power.

Step 2: If you are having any LCD panel to configure just press Menu button >
configure device >system setup >set manual IP address > subnet mask &
Gateway you want.
(or)

Step 2: In case of LCD panel was missing - try to reset the printer by holding front
panel ON button and now switch ON the AC power. (It will reset the printer
IP, if you don't aware of existing network IP address)

Step 3: Now you can find the printer IP (Automatically assigned by DHCP) using
Network scanner, such as
http://www.softperfect.com/download/freeware/netscan.exe

http://www.radmin.com/download/lscan1b1.exe

for more search in Google as Network scanner or Lan scanner > download and
install it. Starts scan using your LAN starting and ending IP address ( check it in
your LAN properties).
Step 4: Type 192.168.1.1 in IE or Copy the IP address and type it in Internet Explorer
address bar.
Step 5: Now click the Networking > Configuration > Network Settings > choose IP
config method as Manual instead of DHCP > Set the IP, Subnetmask,
Gateway as you wish.

Step 6: Now type the newly created IP address in the IE address bar.

Step 7: Congrats you configured successfully.
